Ethan - it is the mating season (for squirrels!) here now and they go crazy every day, chasing each other round and round trees, from tree to tree, making wild, impossible leaps and falling, then running straight back up the tree again. Crazy animals, hours of fun to watch.

We had some fun watching a squirrel and a blue-jay go at it. The squirrel was sitting on a power-line and the bird was diving at him. It was really something to see, until..... Well, I guess the blue-jay touched the other power wire and the squirrel at the same time. BANG. Feathers went everywhere. The squirrel stayed in that same spot for many months cooked to the wire. THAT was fun to watch. Scared the crap out of us when it happened though!
