Thunder Tiger Raptors 30-90 - Imperio > Fan & clutch binding

When I try to start my Raptor 30 the clutch shoe rubs against the top of the housing. Before I try to start it everything turns free.To fix the problem I have to drop the motor out.Sometimes it goes back in easy & other times it takes some time and realignment to get it in.I've taken everything out from the start shaft on down but I can't see the problem.Yesterday I had the same problem & I took it apart then put it back together. It started with no problem.Today it is doing it again. Also now the fan is rubbing. The motor is a 32.I took the shim out of the clutch thinking it was the culprit yesterday. That is when it started OK.Today it has reared it's ugly head again. All replies are greatly appreciated.

My fan was rubbing the top of the bell to.Take your motor out, press the start shaft up from the bottom at the same time losen the hex coupler and press down on that untill theres no slop in the shaft. What your trying to do is make the clutch bell free of slop and it will work fine.

Make sure the fan is screwed on the crankshaft all the way, and that the nut is tight and loc-tited.
