Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > Clutch driver/Fan hub assembly - pin length

Anybody had trouble getting the proper clearance between the clutch driver and fan hub assembly on the Fury. I can not get the proper clearance between the two. It is about 1/2 again as much as the clearance tool (clearance tool plus 1/2 the tool). As a test to make sure you use the proper washers when putting the fan onto the engine MA has you check by putting the clutch driver into the fan hub without the rubber insulators installed. Mine would only fully enter the fan hub if the pins are at the place where the drill dimple is furthest down at either end of the cut out area. In between the depth is not as great and I could not get the clutch driver all the way down. Should I remove some length of the driver pins? Is the fan hub drilled incorrectly? Thanks for your experience!
