Miniature Aircraft Nitro/Gas Helicopters > Fury/Gv1 sensor location - carb or exhaust?

I am building a Fury and see that you can mount the GV1 on either the left side by the carb needles, or the right side by the muffler (this is with the ys80). Which works best? Just looking at it I would say on the left side by the needles (to keep wires away from exhaust heat). What have you experienced? Any problems running the the wire lead from the left side? Thanks for your input !

Glenn - I have it routed on the left side of the Fury. Glad to see you received your kit - I guess that's why I didn't see you in Orlando.

Talk to you later!

Guess it makes not difference, like Rick mentioned. I've installed mine on the right of the frame, and have some black expandable sleeving around the wire.

What kind of muffler will you be installing on yours?
I'm having a bit of a challenge with the mounting of my 80/90 Hattori muffler! Any suggestions / Pictures on how to mount this thing securly.... Please

Thanks.
