Wrong mode Tx for most and only available 27mhz which also sucks.

Mines mode 2 and 27mhz shouldn't be an issue for a little bit of indoor flying...

It's a shame they don't offer it in Mode 1 and on a useable frequency for us Yanks. Post some video if you get the little bugger flying Galifrey. Would be interested to see if they copied the Hirobo XRB's "stability in flight "while they were reverse engineering.

Both stick modes 1 & 2 are available. 27MHz is legal for most countries for citizen band and surface R/C vehicles including US. 35 & 40M also available. For the size of the little BRX, you will not be flying it far enough to get interference...

Didn't say 27mhz was illegal Stephen. It's just a garbage frequency band in the USA with Citizens Band radio use on top of it.

Here are the US ruling body (AMA) guidelines on the subject. Maybe if the vendors on the Pacific rim and In Hong Kong read this we would get fewer RC products that are non-functional off E-Bay

http://www.modelaircraft.org/comp/frequency.htm

Most of the problems occur because the buyer and the seller are not aware of things like the preferred Tx Mode and useable frequencies for their countries. The E-Bay offerings for this product have been mainly mode II and 27 mhz for the USA. Both are non-starters in this market place.

These posts may permit the buyer(s) to be more informed on two of the three issues. The remaining issue is how or if the product flies???

We'll see what Galifrey comes up with in his video

Verdict so far...

flies like a pig...

Cyclic too twitchy and too much throw...

However, I am not sure whether this is a servo problem or a TX problem... when you move the sticks the servos jerk rather than rotate smoothly...

Options I have so far are try some XRB servos see if it improves it, or try another TX (27mhz module for my 9zhp..lol)...

Will get it sorted and feedback, no way is it insurmountable

What I will say is if you get it hovering its dead stable... until you move a stick... then all hell breaks loose... imagine a servo that has 3 positions center and full throw either direction, then imagine trying to fly a heli like that, get it trimmed and its great.. untill you move the stick...

Gah wish I had got the 35mhz version...

will keep you updated...
