I was just wondering if anyone has used this motor before as an upgrade on the Aerohawk. If so, how well does it work?

I am using this motor. Bought a few from allelectronics.com @ $.50/ea. Also bought the DCM-166 for the tail motor. The main motor seems to work very well but the tail motor doesn't seem to have enough power to keep up, thus the heli spins out of control to the left after a few seconds.

Looking for a solution for that.

fakkar;

Check out this link, Gail Graham uses two DCM-166's in parallel with his custom mount (available). It has been getting two thumbs up from almost everyone. I am ordering two for my HB's.

Click here to read about it.

Hi Guys.
We are just finalising getting all the parts together for the dual motor tail setup. The biggest problem has been getting screws and pinions. These are on the way, so we will be offering a complete kit next week.
