Can someone give me the gear ratio for the rap 50 conversion kit. I have a GV-1 coming for it.

Count the teeth on the main gear and count the teeth on the pinon. Divide the main by the pinon. Then you get your answer. It might also say on the side of the original box.

I dont have the conversion but i have the raptor 50 kit

Mine has a 10tooth pinion and a 85tooth spur with a gear ratio
of 8.5:1

I think the standard raptor30 gear ratio is 9.56:1 i believe.

If you ever need to figure the gear ratio take the tooth number of you spur gear and divide that by the tooth number of the pinion. That equals your gear ratio to one.

85/10=8.5
86/9=9.56

an 85 tooth main is desired and depending on engine a headspeed of 1800-1900 with 585mm blades should be pretty wicked. All of this has variables involved. Where you live, altitude, density, but they will easily get you in to the ball park.

LOL.. thanks I was trying to not have to cound the small pinon gear. I was just hoping someone had it off the top of their head. This a streched Rap 30 and I got the upgrade kit... I can figure this out..Thanks all.
