I just bought an Aerohawk and I have seen all these people on here(this site is awesome if I must say), and they have motor upgrades. Though I haven't yet received my new copter, I was wondering what kind of hop up motors are available and where to get them. I am familiar with electric r/c trucks and cars, I don't want anything that would fry my frame or board. Haha

Also, I have seen a few Heli's on here that have the ducted rear fan type tail rotor------WHERE CAN I GET ONE!

There are many different motors you can run on your Aerohawk. Here is a link to look at some of them and also the DD Tail Duckted Fan System you want. http://www.helihobby.com/html/motors.html You can read up on the different types of motors to run. Once you find the one you want, you can look to see if they have it on the web site link above.

Smartech Aerohawk is a knockoff of a Dragonfly/Hummingbird, etc. They sell them a lot on ebay. Here is a link to look at one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...3187571459&rd=1

I was just wondering what kind of motor combo's are good? Let's say that I use a Hi performance main motor, do I have to upgrade my tail motor too?

I see that Heli-Hobby has the G-310 tuning motor, do I need anything for the swap? It says that it's for a Skylark will it fit my Aerohawk?

go to allelectronics.com and get a couple of johnson motors for a buck. They work great and are cheap as borsht.
