| I would first start with your T/R linkage. Is it completely free moving? Then make sure you have only a long enough servo arm to alow full travel, but not over travel. Make sure the gyro is isolated from vibrations, but securely mounted so as to not flop around. Next check for any flex in the tail boom. Then you can check tracking and balance of the tail blades.
The pot. on the unit is for manual gain adjust. There are two micro switches, one for reversing the gyro, and one for remote or manual gain. If the switch for the gain is set to remote, the pot. on the unit has no effect.
That's about all I can think of off hand. Anybody else? |
