Has anyone built (or found for purchase) an extension cable for the Hirobo XRB Mini Lama yet? I'd love to take mine to the garage and get a little bit more cable length to play around with. I've been looking for the same connectors so I can build an extension cord on my own, but haven't found one yet. Anybody else have any luck?

simply clip the wire tether, and insert as much length as you wish (within reason)..

Just solder (or twist if desperate) the wires to the new ends, and cover with electrical tape.

Nah, don't want to clip anything. I was wondering if there was a plug that could be used to connect to the end of the tether to keep things nice and neat, and sellable should I ever decide to hawk the thing....

How many wires are in the bundle?

Its a four conductor wire, readily available. I guess I should check out Fry's or Radio Shack for a connector....

I never did get around to finding the proper connector. I would check Fry's Electronics for one (outpost.com) but my R50V2 which I acquired shortly after I got the Lama has been taking all my time.

(Also why I'm selling my Lama, want more Rappy stuff!)

I wasn't as worried about the connector as the length it could be extended out to.

I'll just have to start hacking!
