Please
let me take time to introduce myself. I have been flying RC heli's
since year 2000. I grew up in Ottawa Canada and moved to London UK when
I was around 16 years old. After many memorable years in the UK, I decided
to move back to Oakville Canada in 2003.
My
flying has come along ways since strapping on some training gear to my
poor ole Shuttle TS. Since then I've owned the Raptor 30, Sceadu 50, and
the X-Cell Fury Xtreme 90's. I loved this machine
so much i got 2 of 'em. Although the problems with the interaction on the Fury
CCPM design started creeping up on me, and it was time to change to the Hirobo
X-Spec 90, running a YS91 with Viperhead combo. Also installed is a li-po 4400mah
7.2v battery, regulated at 5.4volts. The collective servo is a KO-Propo 2123 servo rated at
7.2volts which bypasses the regulator and produces 180oz of torque, at 0.06secs !!!
I
took part in the 2003 3D Masters Sportsman catagory and placed a dissapointing
9th place. It was hard to swallow but maybe someday in the future and expect
to do alot better next time around.
